Hard to find complete 6 volume set of Animate Creation, "Our Living World", a Natural History By The Rev. J. G. Wood, revised and adapted by Joseph B. Holder, MD. Published in New York, Selmer Hess, 1898. Includes many beautiful chromo litho plates, most of them in perfect condition. Five of them have some of the protective facing tissue adhered to them. These are 1 in volume I, 2 in volume II, and 2 in volume VI. The rest of the plates are in excellent condition. The covers are worn on the edges, but the binding is intact and there are no loose, missing, or damaged pages. Some of the finest natural history illustrations ever created. $350 for the set.
