2. Very large French fish carved by Bayol. 72" long. Late 1800's. Carved ribbon encircling his body and draped over his back and tail. Replacement eyes. Has been stripped. The wood is sound with no rot. His head turns to the left. There would have originally been a padded seat with brass railing attached to his back. Quite a rare piece. $7,600.
