Ornately carved English carousel galloper by Anderson. 68" long, 41" high, single-seater. Very deeply carved with entwined serpent, scroll-work, and flying bird. A rarely seen style. Partly stripped. Seam separations, some tin patches, but everything is there and the carving is crisp underneath the paint, including the feathering on the bird and scales on the snake. $5,200.
